8/25/09 Meeting Minutes
Call to order:~ K. Demers called the meeting to order at 7:05 PM.
Present: K. Demers, M. Drobney, C. Jordan, P. Pribula, M. Schreiber,
Approval of 6/23/09 minutes: Motion:CJ/ MD. 3 Ayes, 2 abstentions: MS, PP
Present to speak: NA.
Treasurers Report: The FY 08/09 total spending was $1614.00.
Old Business
FRP-DS:
Trails Report: Trails maintenance and Burma Road erosion were tabled.
Willimantic River Alliance: ~PP plans to inquire on WRA’s position on signage for the Peck’s Mill Greenway site at their next meeting.
Town Development: No news.
CC Website Development: Tabled.
Open Space /Easement Monitoring, Willington Heights Management: Tabled
Willimantic Greenway: Pecks Mill Site Tabled
Protecting Family Farms & Forest Workshop, 10/21/2009 @ Knowlton Memorial Hall, Ashford, CT: A flyer for the program will be produced by WCC. There will be a mailing to Willington landowners who own 100 acre parcels.
Knowlton Purchase: A boundary line agreement with an adjoining property owner is finalized. The monies for the purchase are still available and waiting final approvals.
PZC Subdivision Regulations: No news.
Daley Award: Nominees for the award were discussed. Park Day will be on 10/17/2009 with 10/18/2009 as the rain date.
Other: The WCC will be present at the Willington Flea Market in 9/12/2009. The display and presentation were planned.

Communications: Willington Clean Energy Program will have materials available at the Willington Flea Market WCC booth.
Next Meeting Date: The 9/22/2009.
